sprend is a web service for transferring files. the service works just as well for small files as it does for larges ones, but sprend is most of all a service which offers a solution to the problems associated with attaching files to emails.

email servers often have limitations regarding outgoing and incoming messages. a person with a slow connection, e.g. via their mobile phone, does not appreciate large attachments when receiving their emails. by using sprend the user can select a time of their choice to download the file.
