openra is an opensource reimplementation of westwood’s command & conquer: red alert game engine, updated to use the hardware acceleration of modern video cards using opengl.

going beyond the mere implementation however, openra has become a project with mods which allow players to hearken back to the defining days of the rts genre and reprise tiberian dawn (the original "command & conquer") and dune 2000 as well.
