messages on maadly are called beats and come in the form of text, photo, or video. beats are broadcasted randomly on the app based on the user's "karma score", no following or friending required. if people "like" your broadcasted content then boom: you have an audience.
your karma score grows every time another user likes or engages with your beat. the higher your karma score, the more people your beats will reach. the fun is that you never know who'll receive or decide to engage with your beat.
