lockonme is a flexible locationsharing app, displaying targets and/or associated points of interest on openstreetmap & fun radars (incl. a "motion tracker" inspired by aliens2).you would normally want to broadcast your position over the internet (using a target id & tracking code pair of your choice), but the app can also send a text message with your fixed position by sms, which can then be processed from the app and displayed on a map. (to save on roaming costs, internet data, etc)
