how long it would take a computer to crack your password?on this website you can test out a potential password to determine its relative strength and see an estimate of how long it would take a computer to calculate your password if it was, essentially, guessing at it.
important:please note that it's dangerous to enter your real passwords into such a website. in principle, it could be recording them, or it could be hijacked by a third party for to do the same. if you have a password in mind, enter something similar, not the same.
for example, if you would like to know how secure is the password "my c@t i5 bl@ck & wh1t3" try instead something that replaces every character likeforlike lower case letter for a lower case letter, symbol for symbol, e.g. "be h%y o6 cr%hp / io2y4" that will calculate the same strength without giving away the password you have in mind.
