once it was easy find content relevant to your business; you’d go to the national newspapers and perhaps the trade press. maybe there was a conference a year where you’d discover a business book.
making decisions with this information was also easy. everyone worked in the same office so everyone could discuss articles and use their experience to create actionable business intelligence.
now we live in an age where great content could be anywhere; it could be on blogs, or different social media platforms, or in newsletters, journals, books, newspapers or podcasts. we are drowning in information.
